The hotel had a few drawbacks like the rooms being too warm and uncomfortable for sleeping despite attempts to cool them down, but on the bright side, the location was stellar with fabulous sea views. The service could be more personalized, and there were some missed opportunities with the dining options. Despite these issues, the entertainment area was a plus and the proximity to shops and theaters was convenient.
Rooms
6.0
The rooms were too warm and not comfortable for sleeping, even in mid-March. Attempted to open windows for fresh air but it was insufficient. The heavy quilt made it harder to cool down the room. In the fairness to the hotel, the exterior decoration was noteworthy.
Service
7.0
The housekeeping service was efficient, but lacked a personal touch. A welcome drink upon arrival would have been a nice gesture.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was perfect with fabulous sea views and easy access to the pier and town. The bus route to Hastings or Brighton right nearby was a major convenience. However, having to share tables at breakfast was a downside.
Dining
6.0
While the dining options were plenty, the lack of rolls for those opting against a cooked breakfast was disappointing. The staff was friendly and helpful, but improvements are needed in offering a wider selection that includes cold dishes.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were huge and modern with fantastic touches like USB sockets by the bed, a safe, iron, and a fan. The location was superb, right on the seafront by the pier, offering beautiful sea views. The dining experience was a mix of lovely choices at the hot and cold buffet but was slightly marred by a lack of staff. Overall, a great spot for beach access and town exploration!

I was pleasantly surprised by my room with its twin beds offering a stunning sea view. The room had been newly redecorated and had a real coffee machine, which was a lovely touch. While the room was perfect for sleeping, it lacked a double bed as expected. The location was superb right by the seafront and pier, providing beautiful and therapeutic sea views every night.

I had such a pleasant stay at this hotel! The rooms were well worth the extra supplement, even with just a view of a fire escape, and the public bar added to the convenience. The service, especially from housekeeping, was top-notch, and I even received a welcome drink upon arrival. The location right by the seafront was breathtaking, although a coach blocking the view was a downside. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with a great variety for breakfast but some subpar dishes. The facilities were great overall, making my stay very enjoyable.

I couldn't have asked for a better location—a stone's throw from the pier and a lovely view from my room. The room itself was so comfortable, and I had a brilliant night's sleep. However, it did show signs of wear and tear and felt a tad cramped. The service was top-notch, especially the housekeeping team and the thoughtful welcome drink upon arrival. The facilities were fine, but they could use a little improvement. As for the dining experience, it fell short with limited options and costly parking for guests.
